A very nice clean example with original scabbard. The blade is clean except for a small rust spot, which could probably cleaned out. Stamped on the blade is the maker SIMSON & CO SUHL. The handle is in nice condition with wooden grip and characteristic cross hatch. Stamped on the quillon are the numbers 11942. The scabbard is in fine condition with the numbers 11097 stamped on the frog hanger.
