Terms and Conditions

All items listed on this web site are original period pieces. We offer a full money back guarantee on all items supplied subject to the terms listed below.

Cancellation and Returns

We strive to describe all items fully and accurately and with the aid of photographs provide a clear view of each item and its condition. We offer a guarantee that if a customer is not satisfied in any way with the item or items received the item or items can be returned for a full, no quibble, refund within 7 days from your receipt of purchase.

Customers should be aware that changes in their circumstances; indecision or merely 'changing their mind’ following receipt of goods will not entitle them to a refund.

Customers should note antique collectibles are not subject to the normal sale of goods acts. Please also note, we cannot be held responsible for a change in the customer's financial circumstances or a customer changing their mind after a sale; dealing with sales takes time and money and means an item cannot be offered to other potential customers

Please note the following points

All items returned must be in the same condition as dispatched, if there is any damage, alteration, disassembly or tampering then Hearts and Daggers reserves the right to decline to refund payment.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return.

Postage costs are non - refundable and will be paid by the customer.

We supply items for collector's display purposes only & such items are not intended for actual wear or use. We do not guarantee the fitting of any clothing, footwear or headgear, nor their suitability for being worn

Any returned items paid for via Paypal will be refunded via Paypal in sterling

We can accept payment by Paypal, cash, cheque or bank draft / transfer.

Layaway scheme is available on items over £50. We would generally need a deposit of 25% of the value of the item. We would then require the remainder due to be paid within three months, although a longer term can be agreed for items over £1000.
